Why choose The Institute of EI?
The world has no shortage of EI research. What it lacks is people who can take the best science from neuroscience, psychology and organisational behaviour, and make it practical, applicable and genuinely useful in real life.
01 the science
We teach the science. Not the tool.
Here’s something that surprises most people. Nearly all EI training in Australia is developed around a proprietary measurement tool. That means the learning is shaped by what that tool measures and how it applies theory — not by the full breadth of EI science.
No two measurement tools are grounded in the same framework. Which means learners at most providers are getting a partial picture at best.
The Institute is different. We teach the science of EI and emotion without being tied to any single tool or framework. That means our learners develop a richer, deeper understanding of emotional intelligence with the full suite of personal insights and development tools to improve in the areas they choose, not the areas a proprietary tool defines for them.

Nobody here learns alone.
Someone who is fully invested in their progress, checks in regularly, helps with study plans, and genuinely cares whether they get there. This is not a compliance function. It is a shared responsibility we take seriously.
