Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 2026 Applies to: All students, prospective students and website visitors

1. Introduction

The Institute of EI is committed to providing inclusive, accessible learning experiences and digital content for all people, including those with disability. We aim to create environments where everyone can participate with dignity, autonomy, and equitable access to information and services.

2. Our Commitment

  • We are progressively aligning our website and digital platforms with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our primary standard for accessibility.
  • We design our learning programs, resources, and communications with accessibility in mind, including consideration for visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor access needs.
  • Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we treat it as a continuing area of improvement rather than a one‑time project.

3. What we are doing

To support accessibility across our website, online learning, and in‑person offerings, we are:

  • Reviewing content structure, headings, colour contrast, and text alternatives (such as image descriptions and captions) to support screen readers and other assistive technologies.
  • Working towards ensuring that documents, presentations, and videos are readable, keyboard navigable, and available in alternative formats on request.
  • Providing guidance to our team and partners on inclusive design, accessible communication, and reasonable adjustments for participants with disability.

4. Known limitations

While we are actively improving our accessibility, we recognise there may still be some barriers. These can include:

  • Some legacy documents or multimedia materials may not yet fully accessible (for example, missing captions or transcripts).
  • Occasional accessibility issues with third‑party platforms or tools used to deliver learning or host resources.

When we become aware of an issue, we work to address it as quickly as possible and, where needed, provide an alternative way to access the information or learning activity.

5. Requesting support or adjustments

If you experience any difficulty accessing our website, digital content, or learning activities, or if you would like to request a reasonable adjustment, please contact The Institute of EI. We welcome feedback from participants, partners, and visitors about how we can improve accessibility.

Please include details of the accessibility issue you encountered, the format you prefer (for example, audio, large print, electronic text), and how we can best support you.

6. Continuous Improvement

The Institute of EI reviews this accessibility statement and our practices on a regular basis as we update our services, website, and learning offerings. Feedback from our community plays a central role in shaping these improvements and helping us build more inclusive experiences over time.
